Confession: I still check in on Little Green Footballs from time to time. Oh, I don't actually visit the site if I can at all help it, but I still scan the headlines via Google Reader. This, even after 'Chuckles' Johnson announced to the world that his 'conservative' charade was over, and oh-by-the-way anyone to his right is probably a mouth-breathing neo-Nazi.
Whatever, dude.
The good news is, in my book music trumps irreconcilable political differences with paranoid chameleons.
And so, here we have a young man by the name of Gareth Pearson, who, um - knows how to play the guitar.
Enjoy.

House investigators accused veteran New York Rep. Charles Rangel of 13 violations of congressional ethics standards on Thursday, throwing a cloud over his four-decade political career and raising worries for fellow Democrats about the fall elections.

"Even though they are serious charges, I'm prepared to prove that the only thing I've ever had in my 50 years of public service is service," Rangel told reporters Thursday night. "That's what I've done and if I've been overzealous providing that service, I can't make an excuse for the serious violations."
Six House members crossed the Capitol to stage a "sit-in" in the Senate chamber to protest what they believe to be GOP obstruction of jobs legislation.
These House Democrats sat quietly in the back of the chamber and were approached by both Majority Whip Dick Durbin of Illinois and Republican Sen. Bob Bennett of Utah, who shook the hands of the upper chamber visitors.
Democratic Reps. Donna Edwards of Maryland, Carolyn Kilpatrick of Michigan, Danny Davis of Illinois, Ed Perlmutter of Colorado, Gwen Moore of Wisconsin and Jackie Speier of California seated themselves in the area from which Senate staffers ordinarily watch their bosses on the floor.
The Democrats outnumber the Republicans, 253-178 in the House of Representatives.
This is the long-awaited fifth and final installment of my series of blog posts introducing readers to the candidates vying for the Republican nomination in Tennessee's 4th Congressional District and the opportunity to defeat four-term Democrat Rep. Lincoln Davis in November.
Ron and I had some technical difficulties with the email Q&A, so since the opportunity presented itself, I decided to conduct a video interview with him at Saturday's annual Maury County GOP Picnic in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
First, a very brief background on Lincoln Davis: He tends to keep a low profile (has anyone ever seen the guy on TV, even C-SPAN?), is a putative 'Blue Dog' Democrat...and yet votes with Nancy Pelosi more often than not. And although he ended up voting against Obamacare, he did authorize Pelosi to invoke the Slaughter "Deem & Pass" Rule, if necessary, to ensure that the unpopular, economically destructive bill would be rammed down our throats on way or another.
This would be a tasty nugget for Obama to drop into in his weekly radio address. Perhaps he will sit by the fireplace wearing a cardigan sweater for the occasion.
The White House said Friday it expects that unemployment will stay at or above 9% until 2012, but at the same time forecast that the economy will grow by at least 4% in 2011 and 2012.
