Good News: Obama Finally Kicking it Up a Notch in the Gulf! Bad News: He's Now Actively Interfering With the Oil Cleanup Instead of Merely Doing Nothing

This is just the latest of many examples of the colossal mistake America made in November 2008.

Not only could President Obama override the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in this case and allow Louisiana to continue building sand berms, I'd argue that he is mandated to do so by the Clean Water Act.

But don't worry, Louisiana! Your beaches may be in the process of being obliterated by the Never Ending Oil Blob, but you'll still have those nice pelican nesting grounds to look at.

Of course, the pelicans themselves will all be dead. But, whatever!
