He may have unwittingly made the race easier for his GOP opponent in fall. Now, with a greatly reduced chance of a protracted primary fight, Toomey can focus on the guy he really wants to beat.
If the inflation rate (as expected) hits double digits along with unemployment and interest rates as always happens when government spending outruns the ability to effectively borrow, Toomey will at least have people in PA who are willing to listen.
Good Luck to Toomey! Let's start the campaign now!!!
