Here's a shocker:
A record 205 candidates are in the running for this year's Nobel Peace Prize, the Nobel Institute said on Friday, with US President Barak Obama and France's Nicolas Sarkozy known to be on the list.
Well, why not? If the likes of Yasar Arafat, Paul Krugman, and Al Gore are worthy recipients, it seems fitting that Obama is line for his.
After all, Obama is in prime position to rapidly advance the causes of all three of those men in one fell swoop.
